At the same time that I did my laundry, I also went out to take a look at the four corners or so of the intersection of Dovercourt and Hallam, the arguable centre of Dovercourt Village. Everything looks cool and familiar under the deep blue of twilight.

The two corner stores at Dovercourt and Hallam, 77 Food Market on the northeast corner and Sun Shine Variety on the northwest, have in warmer months lovely displays of plants and vegetables. The pumpkins each is showing now are no different.
